TESTIMONIALS

Feedback from our participants and their families

"Marsha has been the support coordinator for our brother for over a year now and in this time she has made a massive and positive impact on both his life and ours.

Prior to Marsha being our brother’s support co-ordinator, he was in a dire situation where he was living in squalor and was a danger to himself & society. He now lives in a Supported Independent Living situation where he is not only safer & healthier but is also happier. Marsha has continually advocated for the best possible care for him.

Marsha has helped us navigate the system and given us guidance so that we could help facilitate the best possible care for our loved one.

Marsha prioritises the safety & wellbeing of client’s while also listening to the needs and thoughts of families. She has negotiated on our behalf with both sensitivity & professionalism. Marsha has calmly guided us through any crisis situation and has always followed through on finding workable solutions.

We often refer to Marsha as an Angel because of the immense difference she has made to our lives. We are so very grateful to her!!" D.F. Blacktown, Western Sydney

"I would highly recommend Marsha to use as a Support Coordinator. We were introduced approximately 6 years ago.

We have always found Marsha very attentive to any requests and gets onto issues very promptly.

Marsha has a lovely friendly manner and a good understanding of the disability world.

She also does not mind ever being contacted when you need help or have problems to be solved.

Thank you Marsha!"

"Navigating the journey of Early On-Set Alzheimer's had been a particularly difficult experience for my family, from NDIS, to carers, to funding - it can be very overwhelming, confusing and isolating. We have been lucky enough to have worked with Marsha for the past few years and she has made a significant difference to helping us understand and navigate through it all. Not only does she bring expert knowledge, but she provides us all with a sense of calm, warmth and kindness along the way. We would be lost without Marsha's services and we will be forever grateful for how much she has helped my family."

"Marsha became support co-ordinator for my sister, who lives with an intellectual disability, at a particularly difficult period in our lives. Our elderly mother, had just gone into care. My sister, for whom mum was her inseparable soul-mate, confidant, and centre of her life, found it quite overwhelming. Then, when our mother died, her reference point was gone, her life upturned. Through all of this, Marsha provided us with sensitive, helpful support by making things doable, even while all else seemed fractured.

The next great hurdle was my sister’s transition into assisted accommodation. Marsha was again there to explain, arrange and facilitate the difficulties of NDIS and Supported Independent Living arrangements. Always with an eye towards my sister’s best interest, whilst no less sensitive to my anxieties as her guardian.

Marsha’s professional approach throughout a decade of supporting my sister, is only equal to her patience and perseverance.  All questions, explanations and requests have been met with a calm reassurance and straightforward clarifications, even when repeatedly asked the same things. Marsha’s patience with me has been boundless, her ability to achieve results inimitable.

Most importantly, Marsha’s focus on my sister’s wellbeing throughout, has facilitated a better quality of life for her and peace-of-mind for me, as her advocate.

Marsha’s gentle guidance and support have consistently gone far beyond anything we might have expected." - A.A., Inner West Sydney
